Responsibilities:
· Proactively identify potential product quality, product performance and business process issues. Work with Sr. Division/Site Management to implement solutions.
· Hands-on contribution and direction to solving problems in the manufacturing environment and business processes.
· Proactively identify customer issues and work with Division/Site Management and implement strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
· Work with Sr. Supply Chain Management to develop performance matrices and reporting to monitor overall supplier performance, assist with issue resolution, support new supplier qualification as needed/requested.
· Monitor and report on factory production and quality issues, and work manufacturing to quickly resolve and that appropriate corrective / preventive actions are driven into defined process improvement actions.
· Analyze quality issues throughout the value chain and lead issues to successful conclusion. Harvest data for continual improvement of future products, business processes, and customer satisfaction.
· Lead the development, execution, maintenance, reporting, and ongoing improvement of the Quality Management System/s (QMS). Specifically ISO9001:2000 and other existing quality system compliance requirements.
· Perform the duties of Coach and Mentor to improvement teams.
· Recognize opportunities for business performance analysis and improvement.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5- 7 yrs in EMS or similar buying experience. Must be familiar with ERP purchasing as well as build to print fabricated items. . Build to Print Purchasing Experience. Macola MRP, Word, Excel and Contracts Experience Strong communication skills are required in order to respond and answer employee and management inquires. Strong organizational skills with follow through ability. Ability to work material confidential in nature. Ideal candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills.
