Summary:

Working with outside vendors, purchases components, materials, equipment and contracted services.

 

Responsibilities

• Request bids and quotes using purchase orders

• Evaluate vendors and develops second sources

• Solicitation of competitive bids

• Monitor the reliability of vendors in delivering products on time and as represented.

• Strong communication skills are required in order to respond and answer employee and management inquires.

 

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of company products and inventory.

•  Ability to multi-task on a daily basis.

• Must have attention to detail.

•  Strong organizational skills with follow through ability.

•  Ability to work material confidential in nature. Ability to use basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Must be familiar with ERP purchasing as well as build to print fabricated items.

• Ideal candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills.

·         Minimum of a Bachelors degree or an equivalent of 7 yrs electronic purchasing experience.

 

 

 

Due to customer government contract this position requires to be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
